‘I was down by the creek in the bushland on the acreage we lived on. I was skipping stones on the creek when the stone I had just tossed stopped and floated in place in the middle of the creek. A small head emerged from the water, and it became clear that it was this creature who had caught the stone and was holding it just above the water. Its face was pale and luminescent, almost glowing. Its hair looked like little weeds that were everywhere by the creek and its eyes took up most of its face and were large and dark. It looked to be about the size of a blue tongue lizard, so quite small. The creature looked at me with an annoyed look on its face before throwing the stone back towards me, where it landed by my feet. When I looked back the creature had disappeared again and there was a little ripple on top of the water where it had been.’ ‘Its face was pale and luminescent, almost glowing. Its hair looked like little weeds that were everywhere by the creek and its eyes took up most of its face and were large and dark. It looked to be about the size of a blue tongue lizard, so quite small.’ ‘It just felt more like some kind of nature spirit or magical being and very mischievous.’ ‘Creatures of nature, spirits, magical beings.’
