‘I’ll just describe the Irish fairy here – hiking deep in the Burren – on our way to one of the many holy wells present there. We [American nationals] entered a stretch of luscious green environment (much of the Burren is gray and rocky and scrabbles) with old moss-covered rocks and trees and all sorts of plants growing everywhere. On a scramble up a stretch of inclined rocks on the trail, a little humanoid creature with wings about two to two and quarter inches long, fluttered into my view for a couple of seconds.’ ‘I could have easily mistaken it for a large insect like a dragonfly if it had not come directly into view for a moment. I noticed its body was not segmented or really insect like at all. It had a humanoid shape with little legs and arms and a clearly delineated neck and head. Very delicate looking. Dark in color with some possible iridescence. Not sure about that because it was so fast, but I was left with a sense of a subtle variety of color over a darkish figure.’ What are fairies? ‘Trans-dimensional beings.’
