‘I woke up around 10:30 [pm] because I heard a noise, and I saw a small person lifting laundry out of the clothes pile near my bed. I thought from the size of the person that it was my son, who had a sleepwalking problem. I said to the fairy, ‘Come to bed’ and held the blanket up so he could climb in, but I guess my voice startled the creature and he slid down to the floor, as if to hide under the bed. I leaned over to see why what I thought was my son was hiding, and it was gone. I turned the lights on and looked under the bed, then I checked my son’s room, and he was sleeping. On another occasion I was getting ready to cook dinner and my oldest son was getting into the refrigerator. As the door closed, I thought I saw my younger son duck in front of the door, like he was trying to hide. I said, ‘It’s okay Nick, you can get something to eat!’ And Nick replied from another room that he wasn’t hungry. The fridge door was still propped open, but when I went to see who was there, no one was.’ ‘Like a small child – about five or six years old – with blonde hair’.
