‘9 November 2013, Brecon Beacons, Wales, UK. I was walking alone off a mountain where I had been walking all day, in sunny cold weather. At the foot of the mountain I saw a gnarled tree standing alone, and immediately felt a tingle all over my body, and sensed that there were fairies in the tree. I closed my eyes and had the beginnings of an out-of-body experience. I was not afraid, and felt very privileged to be offered this encounter, but I wasn’t ready for such strong magic and I was alone, so I opened my eyes to make it stop. When I closed them again the out of body-experience started again, so I kept them open. I still felt all tingly, and very alive, and in awe of what I was experiencing
